STAIDA RepositoryPENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PAI SISWA MELALUI METODE CONTEXTUAL THEACHING AND LEARNING DI MTS DARUL HIDAYAH SRIMINOSARI LABUHAN MARINGGAI LAMPUNG TIMURAyu SuciAstutiauthorPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) melalui penerapan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) di MTs Darul Hidayah, Labuhan Maringgai, Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada siklus I, siswa menunjukkan minat dan antusiasme yang rendah terhadap pembelajaran PAI, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab yang kurang menarik bagi mereka. Sebagai respons, pada siklus II, peneliti menerapkan metode CTL, yang lebih mengutamakan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasilnya, terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, di mana mereka lebih bersemangat, aktif, dan lebih tertarik untuk mengikuti pelajaran PAI.
